Here Are The Top 5 Tips For Any Efficient Writing
As an internet marketer, writing is a very important talent that you can’t do without. Doesn’t matter if it’s writing a long/short e-Book, an article, a blog post, or an email for your email marketing campaign or newsletter, it is vital to get the point across to the people who would be reading your writing, in the right way so they can perfectly understand you. Here we’re going to go through some important tips which could really help you write more efficiently…
One of the 1st points to think of is the reason of your writing. Are you trying to be instructive, or is the main motive to get people to check out one of your link and purchase a product from you?
The medium you are writing for will also make a huge difference. In an e-Book, for example, you’ve got much more room to develop your ideas, and the public will expect more detail than in, say, a blog post or an article submitted to a directory.
Once you’ve got that figured out, you can then think about your readers. For example, do they already know much about the subject matter? Or are they new to it? Are they young, middle age or old? There is no doubt that there is a good chance for your audience to vary fairly widely within these ranges, but it certainly helps if you at least think about it.
Below I explain some top tips for any efficient writing:
1. You should be short and go straight to the point. Most people hate nonsense, and you can really start to lose your audience if you keep beating around the bush, instead of giving the valuable information they need. Many People are always in a hurry, so don’t waste their precious time.
2. You should try as much as possible to avoid needless ‘techy’ jargon. Again, get straight to the point, and do not use a long word when a short one will do! Do not try to impress you audience by using very difficult words, when you can use simple ones that are easily understood by everybody.
3. You should write as you speak. People like to be entertained when they are reading, so try to avoid making your writings seem over formal. I also like adding in similes or emoticons as these without doubt improve the readers’ mood.
4. You should also consider breaking your text into short straight to the point paragraphs. It’s much easier to read and makes the page look more spacious. And that is a good thing. Bulky chunks or blocks of text can in fact put people off from even skimming what you’ve sped you precious time writing.
5. You should think of adding headings. It divides the text and makes it really easy for people to quickly locate the bits they are searching for.
6. And finally, you should ask questions. This is a great way to connect with your readers since it makes them think a little bit. Consider starting most of your paragraph with a question, and then begin answering it, or get your readers to think more about the issues around the question.
Of course, you need to adjust these points to suit your medium, but the fact is that writing actually doesn’t have to be hard. Just follow these top writing tips, tricks and in my belief, you won’t go wrong in your writings.
